The Fall Pledge Drive has come to an end and on behalf Silver Oak, and we sincerely thank our family community for supporting our school! With your donations and projected Corporate Matching, Silver Oak Educational Partnership/PTO expects to meet our revenue goals to provide all planned classroom enrichment programs, STEAM Lab support, and grants for the current school year. ​Some Box Tops are expiring soon! Please clip your box tops and bring them into school by October 28. They will be collected from your classrooms on October 29. We're collecting box tops each month, so make sure to turn in your unexpired box tops. You can also use the Box Tops app to scan your shopping receipts and earn $s for Silver Oak. The class with the most Box Tops will earn a fun class party! Thanks and let's keep collecting!

October's Project Cornerstone book title is "Stand Tall, Molly Lou Melon", by Patty Lovell. This month's story focuses on positive self-talk and self-image. Being proud of who you are makes it easier to stand up to those that may try to tease or bring you down. Cornerstone classrooms will discuss how they can develop and use their personal power to handle a bullying situation, and how caring adults can help support them.
