For the month of November, the trait was Caring and for December, students learned Generosity. Names of students that were recognized are posted on this website under the "Our Students" tab above. You might find your child's name. The principal will be hosting a celebration for these students on Friday, January 18th during the school day. The Character Trait for January is Trustworthiness.

Here are some words from our music program partners, Music for Minors: We are excited to announce that we have selected Montgomery Elementary as our 2018-19 Champion School for Music Education! This is a designation given to a specific school each year based upon financial need, music value (presence of internal advocate for music education), and long-term commitment to include music as an integral part of a well-rounded education. Principal Guillermo Ramos, a strong leader and enthusiastic proponent of music comments, "It is an honor to work with the Music for Minors team and I look forward to the possibilities our relationship will continue to bring."
