Hello Norwood Community,
We are reaching out to you because this week our school experienced a sudden and tragic loss beyond comprehension. Our wonderful sixth grade teacher, Mrs. Lozano, had her 2 year-old son, Levi, pass away suddenly and unexpectedly on Wednesday afternoon. In this unbelievably difficult time we are letting our community know because Mrs. Lozano, and her mother, Cheryl Baker, have been such an integral part of the Norwood Creek Community for the past two decades and we've already had a number of people reach out asking what can they do to help.
During this extremely difficult time Mrs. Lozano, her husband Andy, along with their family, are requesting privacy so they can have time to grieve and plan next steps. If you would like to send Mrs. Lozano any well wishes, we ask that you refrain from emailing or calling her directly. Instead, please drop off anything you wish for her to have at our front office. We will make sure all items are delivered to her and her family.
Another way to help is by visiting the Go Fund Me page created by one of our teachers for the Lozano family to help with the financial burdens that they are now presented with in light of this terrible tragedy. If you would like to donate, please follow this link.
We thank you for your overwhelming kindness and respect for her privacy during this very difficult time.
In loving memory of Levi Lozano - February 20, 2016-June 6, 2018
