THANK YOU to Cub Scout Pack 280! They built 4 new wooden benches for the garden. Check out these "update" photos below of what's currently in progress.
-100 ft hose with reel (donate) -Watering cans -Metal rakes (4 to borrow) -Large shovels (4 more to borrow) -Gardening gloves (to donate or borrow. we need a total of 40 pairs for adults and kids. Non powder latex gloves is okay too) -Small shovels for gardening -Tarps or paint cloths to borrow. -Pans. Need about 24 -Rollers. Need about 24 2. Thur and Friday: People to organize and setup fro Saturday's (4/21) event. We have 200 supplies that we have to sort through and setup for. 1. Monday to Thursday: We need folks to help mulch the garden. We will be there from 10-2pm (M,T,W,F) and 10-12 (TH).
We have made a HUGE progress with the garden. We still have quite a bit of work to get it ready for the kids to plant and install on Earth Day.We need A LOT of help! Here is a list of things that you can do to help. You are welcome to just show up and help anytime.
3. People to come every other day to water the plants. Bring some watering cans or buckets. Please donate watering cans if you have some.
4. Succulents and/or succulent clippings. We have a hill section to cover.
5. Earth day signups. We need both adults and kids. We have 3 hours of work and a ton of things we would like to accomplish. Event starts at 8:30 but folks should be there by 8am to sign in.

Next Saturday April 21, 2018 the District 8 - Great American Litter Pick-Up Day is happening at our school 8:30AM-11:30AM (Rain or Shine)
