Student Rights and Protections
At Evergreen School District, we believe every student deserves a learning environment that is safe, fair, and respectful. This page explains your child’s rights under state and federal law and how the district works to protect those rights. You’ll learn about:
- What state and federal laws require (for example, equal access to instructional materials, safe and clean facilities, protection from discrimination and bullying)
- How to report concerns or make a complaint (for your child or on their behalf)
- Who to contact for help, what steps the district takes, and what you can expect
