Evergreen School District Parent and Community Involvement

We believe that the partnership between the District and our community is vital to the success of all children. As such, we are pleased to provide a number of opportunities for parents and community members to become involved in our schools.

School Board Meetings

Known for open communication, the Evergreen School District Board of Trustees meets once to twice monthly. Regular meetings are open to the public in an effort to keep the community well informed on school district programs, budget, and direction. The public is invited and encouraged to attend open Board meetings.  Minutes of each Board meeting are a matter of public record and are posted online in the Agenda and Minutes Archive.

District Councils and Advisory Committees

Evergreen School District facilitates a number of district-wide councils and advisory committees that are open to the public. They include:

Additionally, each site hosts and facilitates a number of parent groups that include School Site Councils, English Language Advisory Committees, District Site Leadership Teams, Parent Teacher Associations and more. For more information about the specific councils at a school site, please visit the school website or contact the school directly.
