Visual and Performing Arts Dance Program at O.B. Whaley Elementary

We’re excited to introduce a new Dance Program at O.B. Whaley Elementary as part of our growing Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) focus. Led by a full-time dance teacher, students will have the opportunity to explore movement, rhythm, and creative expression through a variety of fun, engaging dance styles. All grade levels will participate as part of the regular school day. No experience needed—just a willingness to move and have fun. At Whaley, we believe the arts help build confidence, teamwork, and joy in learning. We can’t wait to see our students shine.

Holly Oak Dual Language Academy

Evergreen’s Spanish Dual Language Immersion program at Holly Oak Elementary offers students the opportunity to become bilingual, biliterate, and culturally confident—skills that are essential in today’s global society. Starting in kindergarten, students learn in both Spanish and English through a research-based model that promotes academic achievement and cross-cultural understanding. The program is designed to develop strong language skills while preparing students to lead and thrive in a multilingual world. Enrollment is open to kindergarten students, and students in grades 1–5 who are transferring from another dual language program may be considered, based on a language assessment and space availability. Families both within and outside Evergreen School District are encouraged to explore this unique educational opportunity.
