Send a Message

1.  Click the envelope icon in the top right in the header.

2. Click New Message.
3. Enter the recipient's name in the To field.
   Note: The recipient name may take a moment to automatically appear in a drop down menu.
4. Enter a subject and message. You may also optionally add files, links, or resources.
5. Click Send to complete.

Check New Messages

1. Click the envelope icon in the top right in the header. A number in a yellow circle at the corner of the envelope icon will indicate that you have a new message.
2. Click the message you'd like to read. A blue dot next to the message will indicate that it has not be read or opened.
3. To reply to a message, enter a comment in the Message area, and click Send.

Find Assignments

1.  Once logged into Schoology, a list of upcoming assignments with due dates for all classes will appear in the right column, titled Upcoming.
2. Click Calendar in the upper right to view assignments in a calendar.
3. To view upcoming assignments for only one class, click Courses in the header, and select your course name.
4. A list of upcoming assignments with due dates for just that course will appear in the right column, also labeled as Upcoming.
5. Note: It is important to check for assignments with no due dates in the Course section, since it won't appear in the Upcoming list.

Submit an Assignment

1. Open the correct assignment.
2. Click Submit Assignment on the right side.
3. A pop-up window will appear in with three different ways to submit the assignment: Upload a file, Create (text editor), or Resource (e.g. Google Drive). Enter or select the necessary information.
4. Click Submit.

1. Click the calendar icon in the top right to access events and due dates. Each item is color-coded depending on courses, groups, schools, and personal events. Due dates for assignments, assessments, and important course-related events are automatically added to your calendar and managed by your instructor.
2. To create personal events, click the date to which you'd like to add the event, and fill out the Event form. Optionally, add documents, links, or resources. Click Create to complete.
3. To edit an event, select the event you'd like to modify, and click Edit Item. Click Save Changes.
4. To delete an event, open the even you'd like to delete, and click View Item. Click the gear icon, and Select Delete.
