Senior Parcel Tax Exemption

You are eligible for an exemption from the Evergreen School District parcel tax if:

  • You are the owner of a parcel within Evergreen School District (ESD) boundaries
  • You are at least 65 years old as of June 30 of the next year
  • The parcel is your principal residence

To request exemption from the parcel tax, return the following documents to the Evergreen School District office by May 31, 2021:

  1. Your completed Request for Exemption form
  2. Additional required documents

If you have previously been granted an exemption from the parcel tax, your exemption will be automatically renewed each year as long as you remain eligible for the exemption.

    • Utility Bill
    • Social Security Check

  3. Proof of Birth Date (1 of the following)
    • California Driver’s License/CA ID Card
    • Passport
    • Birth Certificate
    • Medicare Card
