Classified Substitute Jobs

Supporting the needs of our students is a critical job in Evergreen School District. Substututes play in important role in Classified substitute positions are non-teaching positions that don't require a credential like food service workers, secretaries, and instructional assistants.

We are currently accepting applications for these classified substitute jobs:

  • Special Education Instructional Assistant (up to 6 hours a day)

  • Transitional Kindergarten Aide (6 hours a day)

  • Kindergarten Aide (2.5 hours a day)

  • Front Office Secretary or Health Clerk (up to 8 hours a day)

  • Child Nutrition Services (2 to 5 hours a day)

  • Day and Night Custodian (6 to 8 hours a day)

  • Noon Aide (1 to 2 hours a day)

Classified substitute pay rate is based on hourly rate of the first column of the current year’s classified salary schedule.

  1. Complete the Substitute Employment Application

  2. Schedule an appointment with human resources by emailing careers@eesd.org.

  3. Bring your photo ID, social security card, and transcripts to your appointment.

  4. Clear the Live Scan fingerprinting and  Department of Justice screening at our assigned location.
