Overview

Welcome to the Evergreen School District Parent Handbook for the 2025-2026 school year.

This handbook serves as a resource for families and community members, providing important information about district policies, procedures, and expectations, as well as outlining the rights and responsibilities of students and parents. Prepared and distributed in accordance with Education Code Section 48980, the handbook is provided to all students and their parents in the Evergreen School District. The Evergreen School District Board of Trustees encourages strong collaboration between parents/guardians and school staff to ensure a safe, respectful, and positive learning environment for all students.

Students are expected to demonstrate appropriate behavior and to respect the rights of others to fair and just treatment. Families are encouraged to review this handbook and use it as a reference throughout the school year.

Because state laws and Board policies may change, the online version of this handbook is updated regularly and may reflect revisions made after the school year begins. This page was last updated in August 2025.
