Please be aware our Child Nutrition Services department is still facing supply chain issues and that manufacturers may reformulate products at any time and without notice. Although we try hard to serve menus as planned, menu substitutions can happen and may cause unexpected exposure to allergens. In 2024, Evergreen School District was honored by Action for Healthy Kids (AFHK) and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) with the Innovation in the Cultural Diversity of School Meals award. This prestigious recognition highlights our commitment to providing nutritious school meals that reflect the diverse cultural backgrounds of our students.

Our menus feature a vibrant array of cuisines each week, including Hispanic, Asian, Italian, and Indian options. This diverse selection fosters a sense of inclusivity and understanding by allowing students to explore and appreciate different cultures through their food. By offering familiar dishes, like tamales, pupusas, dumplings, and empanadas, we ensure that students from various backgrounds feel seen and valued, creating a welcoming and inclusive cafeteria environment. Furthermore, this diverse menu encourages students to try new foods and expand their palates, promoting a sense of adventure and curiosity.
