Letter to Households for Provision 2 Schools

Dear Parent of Guardian:

In the 2026-2027 school year, Evergreen School District is implementing Provision 2, also known as the base year, as an alternative program for schools participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs. All families must fill out the Alternative Income Form, even if your child brings lunch from home. This happens every four years or when a new student enrolls in the district.

Schools that participate in Provision 2 can provide healthy breakfast and lunch each day at no charge to all students enrolled at the school during the 2026-2027 school year.
