Measure X Citizens' Oversight Committee

To ensure full transparency and accountability, an independent Citizens' Oversight Committee must review and report on all Measure X expenditures, and a third-party auditor will audit all expenditures.

Senior Parcel Tax Exemption

Measure X includes a Senior Parcel Tax Exemption, which is a provision that allows property owners aged 65 or older to be exempt from the annual $125 assessment. This exemption ensures that residents on fixed incomes can maintain their primary residence without the added tax burden, provided they own and occupy the property as their principal home. To receive this benefit, learn more at Senior Parcel Tax Exemption.

Seniors who have already applied for and are receiving a previously approved senior citizen exemption will be automatically exempted from the Measure X parcel tax.
