Developer Fees

Pursuant to Government Code Section 65995 et. seq. and Education Code Section 17620 et. seq., school districts are authorized to levy fees on new residential and commercial-industrial development to fund the school facilities necessary to accommodate the students from new development.

Please email your City of San Jose Permit form along with the name of the property owner and phone number to Denisse Garcia-Mendoza at dgarciamendoza@eesd.org. In response to your request, you will receive the total amount due and arrangements of how to make payment and pick up your prepared the documents.  Please call (408)270-6800 with any questions.
