Principal's Message,
Monday, January 02, 2017
I want to take this opportunity to wish all our Dove Hill families a Happy and Healthy New Year. I hope your holiday was relaxing with family and friends. Our students have transitioned back into their academic routines, and believe it or not, the end of the second marking period is quickly approaching. The end of the marking period is January 13th and report cards will go home on March 10th. As always, please be sure to contact your child's teacher should you have any questions about their progress. Additionally, it's important for students to arrive to school on time. The homeroom period provides students with a smooth transition to a day of learning. At this time, the students review the day's schedule, copy homework assignments, listen to school announcements, get breakfast, and distribute notes and materials from home to their teachers. To provide your children with a positive start to the day, please plan your morning so your child arrives in homeroom before 8:30. After 8:30, they are considered tardy.

Forgotten Lunch and Homework
Wednesday, August 24, 2016
Classes will not be disrupted at all for forgotten homework, lunches or changes in after school pick-up. Please make sure your child has all they need before they come to school each morning. If your child does forget something, please email the teacher and let him or her know and the child will be directed to the office to pick up the item... In saying that, teachers are also busy teaching your children. They try to check their email, but it could happen that they do not get your message until after school. Therefore, being prepared every day makes life easier for everyone.
