Annual - Chaboya Challenge
Chaboya PTSA welcomes you to the start of the 2017 – 2018 school year! We need EVERYONE’s help to fill the ever increasing holes left by state budget cuts to ensure that our children receive a quality education. Your participation in our annual pledge drive - The Chaboya Challenge - will help make this happen.
In order to meet the goals listed below, we need every family to donate a contribution of at least $100 per child (one-time contribution for the entire school year) during our Chaboya Challenge Membership Drive.
This year, the Chaboya PTSA has budgeted $100,000 for programs that directly benefit our students. 98% of the budget goes directly to programs and materials that improve your child's instructional experience. Falling short of our target will mean additional fundraising throughout the school year. Please step in and make your contribution now!
These programs are only partially funded by the school district and are made available at Chaboya Middle School by your direct and generous contributions.

- The Chaboya Challenge, for the parents, is an extension of The Chaboya Opener Day, closing the gap from what was raised during The Opener day to then reach our target goal of $102,000.
- The Challenge, for the kids, is a fun spirited competition between the 7th and 8th graders. It is a combination of dollars donated by each child, 4th period classrooms and grade levels. There is school excitement created to raise funds. For the kids, this culminates in a final week of the Chaboya Challenge with fun daily events and a Friday carnival.
