At the February 9 meeting of the Evergreen Board of Trustees, the Board passed a resolution affirming support of students and families regarding immigration enforcement actions at schools.

Parents of 6th graders - you will need to provide documentation that your child had a Tdap (whooping cough) booster shot given on or after 7 years old. Our goal is to have ALL 6th grade students provide this documentation before the end of May. If you haven't done so already, check your child's immunization record or call your physician to find out when they last had a Tdap vaccination. Once the shot is completed, bring in the immunization record to the school office so we can document that the requirement has been completed. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL SUMMER TO COMPLETE THIS REQUIREMENT.

2017 Contest Theme: Letter to the Senator Entry Deadline: Friday, March 3, 2017 The 2016 election saw victories for the Asian and Pacific Islander (API) community. Especially exciting is the historic election of Kamala Harris as California's new senator and the first Indian-American and second African-American woman elected to the U.S. Senate. Are you in need, or know of anyone in need of gently used clothing for school age students? Our district has two locations for families in need. O.B. Whaley (The Hanger) is a site that is open the first Thursday of each month from 1:30-3:00pm. Katherine Smith (The Wardrobe) is another site that is open the 2nd Thursday of each month from 1-4pm. Donations are accepted as well, and this is a service for all Evergreen families.
