UPDATED: August 28, 2011, @ 5:36 P.M. . . .

A10 General Rules:

1. Respect each other’s space; online and offline.
2. Obey all classroom rules and procedures.
3. Follow directions, stay on task, and keep organized.
4. Treat others like you would like to be treated.
5. Work hard, but have fun.

For assignments:

1. Put a proper heading on every assignment you turn in. Remember to make a proper heading for each page if there is more than one page.

2. Missing assignments are given a zero percentage grade.

3. Torn paper and messy work are not accepted.

4. All assignments, except for Math assignments, are to be typed, or completed in black or blue ink. Math assignments are done in pencil. Make sure to write your number in the upper right-hand corner on the first page of each assignment.

5. All returned assignments must be kept in an organized binder until the end of the trimester.

6. Your answers for Reading, Science, and Social Studies questions must always be written as complete sentences.

7. Remember to skip every other line on your written assignments. If you are typing, please double-space.

8. All self-corrected assignments must be graded and corrections must be made to the incorrect answers on the assignment. Please use a red pen to correct and score your assignments.

9. All math assignments must show the student's work. Math classwork assignments must have an answer column. Skip every other line on these classwork assignments.

10. If a student has any missing assignments three days before a field trip, the student will not be allowed to attend the field trip. In addition, all assignments need to be complete each day including the day of the field trip. This does not include any missing assignments because of an absence. Please make up all missing assignments before any field trip.

Failure to follow the rules and procedures for assignments will result in a zero percentage grade for that assignment.
