Welcome to the 2010-2011 school year!  I hope you had a wonderful summer and feel rejuvenated and ready for the successes and challenges that lay ahead. My name is Mrs. Acosta and I am honored to be your child’s kindergarten teacher.  I believe that successful student learning thrives on open communication and an active parent-teacher-school partnership, so I invite you to be involved in your child’s kindergarten experience.

 

My expectations for student behavior are based on the idea that each student has an equal right to learn.  In order to help each student become responsible for his/her behavior, I have set the following expectations for student behavior:

 

•    Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself

•    Listen when someone is talking

•    Do your best at all times

•    Be kind to others

•    Follow directions

 

Please take time to discuss these expectations with your kindergartener so that we may have a safe and respectful learning environment.
