Math timed tests every Friday morning

Spelling test every Friday morning

Homework:

Homework will be assigned Monday through Thursday.  Every night students are expected to read at least 20 minutes and log it on their reading log with a parent’s signature.  The students record the homework into their planner on a daily basis.

Spelling Homework

Monday- Write spelling words in alphabetical order or write the words and definitions

Tuesday- Sort by sound pattern

Wednesday- Write the words in sentences or four times each

Thursday- Take a practice test and write the words you missed 10 times

Student Work:

Student’s work will be sent home every Friday in their Friday Folder.  The papers are for you to keep, review and discuss with your child and give you a general progress report for the week.  The folder should be signed and returned on Monday.

Library:

Our checkout will be on Friday mornings.  Please remind your child that the books are due on the Thursday so that they will be able to check out a new book.
