Parent/Guardian:

Please be advised that my web page will be used to supply you with important information concerning upcoming events. This information could be classroom happenings or JF Smith school wide events.

In an effort to encourage responsibility, I have asked my students to use their planners to record all homework assignments Please check their planners for assignments.  Homework assignments won't be posted on my web page. However, I will post a spelling list weekly.

This week was spent working to master changing fractions to decimals and visa versa. Also, we concentrated on improving writing. All students were given until next Thursday to use their home computer to type their final draft story and print it out. Next week, we will continue to work on cursive writing and revisit geometry. Also, an on going discussion will take place concerning what will be required for the students' Science Fair project.
